I know it doesnt seem like this belongs here but I wanted to reach the most folks I could. I need help with my 74 BB El Camino. I cant find any inner fenders that are in my budget (around $200.00). Has anyone here fabbed up a set or have any advice to offer me. Thanks in advance.

Hit the local Pick-a-Part. I found a pair of steel ones for my 73...$10 a piece. Took a couple trips till I found em, but they're fun trips anyway.

I wish there was good metal at the pick aparts around here. Unfortunately our winters and salt tend to do a number on these parts. Has anyone fabbed up inner fenders?

if they are the front inner fenders then donors from a 1973 malibu would probably fit.mine came with factory plastic fenders that have been trouble-free.

On my car the R/S inner was rotted below the battery tray so it had to be replaced the L/S inner just needs a cleanup and repaint. If thats what your up against you could try this.
Compare the R/S inner fender from your 71 chevelle with your 74 elcamino. If their similar you could use a section of a 70 to 72 repro inner to repair your 74 inner.
Also bowtie455 is right any 73 to 77 chevelle/malibu/wagon would work for you.

there is extra sructure inside 73 fenders to bolt plastic inners to they will fit but you will have extra holes
