What outlets carry Delco products. I know the dealerships do. My local K-Mart use to, but does not now. Does Autozone or the like?

Pep Boys is only chain that carries AC filters that I have seen recently.

i can get them at the local Carquest, and the NAPA a few miles away.
but i usually either get NAPA brand or Wix filters- they are just plain better, and cost about the same as a Delco filter at a dealer.

I buy my AC Delco filters at Autozone.

Autozone has plugs and filters, and ac delco parts centers keep popping up here.

The only place that has AC oil filters are Pep Boys and the Chevy dealers, except oil filters for the diesel, dealer only has them and they charge you accordingly too.

Most all independent and chain auto parts stores stock AC Delco products to some extent.

HINT: The retail price for an AC filter at Autozone, etc. is frequently less than the wholesale price you have to pay at the dealer for the identical filter.

I go to Pepboys, they always have them in the back because they don't think there gonna selling any. Don't ask for the make of the car, ask for the filter number, I think it's #PF1218 now, I forgot. Somebody correct if I'm wrong.

Try and find a PF25. All Autozone and other chains have are smaller substitutes.

My understanding has been that the PF25 has been replaced by the PF454S.

PF25 filters are the smaller ones, they don't hold that much oil as the PF1218's. These will hold almost one quart. Your choice graemlins/thumbsup.gif .

The PF35 is the larger one,PF1218 is the same but with a anti-drainback valve in it.I keep 3-4 of them on hand.Get them at autozone.

Wow, I didn't know that about the drainback. Stores and even the ACDelco warehouse told us they just switch the number to 1218 instead of the 35 for some reason.
