The reason I ask is that there is a Heavy Chevy on E-bay that "sounds" to be documented, but the interior is different from evey other Heavy Chevy I have seen. If you have a 71 that you know for a fact is a Heavy Chevy, look at the interior pics on this car and tell me if your's is like it or not. Mine is definitely NOT like this interior, and I bought the car new in 1971 so I am "pretty" sure it is correct.

Looks like a malibu interior instead of the cheapo interior the heavy's had, and looks like it has carpet (hard to see for sure on my monitor)

My guess is the interior was junk when he restored the car, and replaced it with what was available. :confused:

Hey Guys, I had a 1972 Heavy Chevy back in '82 when I was in high school. The car had been repainted a shade lighter than the original antique green, but had the concours plain interior. Black with fake woodgrain on the door panels and black carpet laid over the original black plastic mat. Brian smile.gif
