My father and I have several old 3peed manual trannys. I know one is a 66 Malibu with the shifter still with it and I think has a round white shift handle. The others are 57 Chevy trannys.
Are any of these worth hanging on to or should we sell at our next local swap meet? If you all say to sell... How much is a fair asking price?

Sometimes some of that big heavy stuff is just not worth keeping! But maybe I should put the 66 Tranny in my own parts bin :confused:

I might not be an expert, but I would hang on to that 66 Malibu trans. I have been seeing more and more Malibu restorations, and someone might want an original to rebuild for their resto.

I would list them on Ebay. Someone restoring a 57 may need one of them. Get all the numbers off the cases for potential buyers. You may be surprised at what they sell for.

Yeah,I have wondered about saving all the old stuff but it all comes down to having space now or making a little in the future.
Have a Saginaw 4spd that I need to do something with.
