This months Chevy High Performance has a 69 chevelle in it and the doors have wing windows.I've never seen a 69 with them.I take it this is pretty rare??? I did a search and came up empty.Anyone seen one before?

64-69 had um. 70-72 didn't. edit-4 doors did.

Yup, that's what I was thinking when I read the question - post car.

From '69-'72 all 4 door Chevelles (incl 4 dr hardtops), all station wagons, and El Caminos had vent windows. In '69 the 2 dr post cars had them too (2 dr posts not available after '69). Only 2 dr hardtops (incl 300 Deluxe) and converts did not. All '64-'68 Chevelles had vent windows.

I like vent windows. Chevy pick ups had them into the 1980s.

Oh yea Von, then there was the 4 door 70's with vent windows graemlins/clonk.gif Somehow I don't acknowledge 70's Chevelle's as having 4 doors. I guess it's from looking at all the SS cars at shows.
Another question: Did the 69-72 vent window Chevelles still get Astro ventilation? The 68's didn't get it.

The '69's with vent windows didn't get Astro Ventilation. I'm not sure about '70-'72.

I went to Nicks web site for the first time and anyone who has not been there needs to make the trip! You have owned some darned nice cars Nick! I think only two or three of them did not say 4 speed but they did not say they were automatics either. Have you owned anything that was not a stick? :eek:
