Replacing my 64 convertible chassis with a good 66 ElCamino chassis I found. Does anyone know the the exact specs for shortening the rear of the Eleky chassis so I can use it under my convert?

If you have a shop manual, it should have the frame dimensions.

I beleive you remove 4" between the last two mounts.

Just measure both frames.

What on did on mine was to measure ... say 6" to the rear of the 2nd to last mount on both frames and cut them both off there, then put the chevelle rear on the elky front.

The exact measurement is
3.27 " or 3 9/32 "
the dim can be taken from thr rear area behind the side body mounts.
How I did it was cut the ram of flush where the inside reinforcement ends. then removed 3 .27 in of the out side C chanel. You now have the long inside C channel acting like a protruding stub.

This is a 76 frame but will work A-OK if you do not have a Factory body manual..
