I just bought a "RCI" helmit.
At work a guy is willing to paint it up for me.
His concern is that if he scuffs the helmit to paint it it will in some way void the warranty. If the stickers are removed also and not put back on (but the one in the lining will still be there)will this void the warranty also.
I see lots of helmits painted and am woundering how they do it if, lightly scuffing and removal of stickers is not aloud. :confused:

Shaun...the best thing to do is to contact the company who made the helmet. Tell them what you want to do and they will tell you if it voids the warranty. I have had my street motorcycle helmets painted and have no problem with the manufacturers.

You can paint without a problem. Dont remove the guts is all. My Simpson had painting instuction included. Sand with 400 and paint.
