He has a Linko tranny and we need to fabricate a cover that can be removed and allow the tranny to be slid back 5" to get
it out to allow clutch adjustment. (Don't ask!)
We were thinking of makine a fiberglass cover. Anyone have any ideas on how to make a mold while the tranny is in place?
Any other ideas?

Thanks
Dave

you might try a piece of rubber like maybe a door mat. A piece of carpet flipped upside down with a cover of plastic. Something that will release from fiberglass but stiff enough
to hold the shape. I use modlers clay with turtle wax on it to make small molds for fiberglass. You'll have to look around the shop/house and you should find something that will work. How about one of those plastic snow slides that roll up. If your attic looks anything like mine just go up there a look around, you'll find something!

Thanks for the suggestions 67.
Lately my imagination has had a lack of it.
