Hi everyone! I've been absent from this board for several years now. I sold my last chevelle so that I could afford a new house for my family. I am now getting the urge to find another car. Here's where the favor comes in. There is a 1971 SS454 in Camden, AL that I am interested in. I am only interested in it if it is a numbers matching car, but the owner says he has a bad back and can't get to the numbers to look at them. I am eleven hours away. My brain tells me to keep looking, but my heart wants to know if the car has the original motor. If there is anyone in the area that could look at the car for me, I would really appreciate it. I would be glad to return the favor. I looked at a chevelle in Richmond, Va for a fellow member (from MD or NJ if I remember correctly) several years ago as a favor, so I'm hoping that someone here can help.
