Next week I am going to install the floor pan to firewall extensions. Any tips on where the spot welds are located, and fitting the new pans will be helpful. I have never done this type of work before, so I will need as much help as I can get. If anybody has pics of this area, that will help a bunch. As always, TIA,

Scuff the paint and primer off where the old panel is spot welded to the braces and other panels. Once you expose the old spot welds, you'll have to cut them out. You'll need a spot weld cutter for this. The trick is to cut the spot weld out without going all the way through and making a hole. You only want to cut enough metal to pop the weld. Once the old panel is out, you can use it to get an idea of where to locate the new welds, which I assume you'll be doing with a mig welder.
