does anyone know if 66-67 wiper motors were used in 68 at all. the wiper motor i have definetely came out of a 66-67. it has the large oval hole and not the small round 68-72 hole. has 3 mounting points and the mount looks not to ever been altered at all. does not have the round motor it has the rectangle type motor. :confused: :confused:

It sounds like your car has the non-hidden wiper motor on it which would not be original for an SS in 68. here is a quick description in a previous post in restorations:

it is the hidden wiper type but my car looks like it came with it from the factory. it fits in the firewall perfect. my car is a original ss so i cant figure it out.thanks for the help though.
