Wow, I've had this steering column and transmission linkage in/out of the car like 3X this year alone. Last night I ran into the 1st problem, and can't figure out why?

It appears the arm at the bottom of the steering column is shifted up too high. Is there some way to tilt/twist it downward?

This time, the tranny/linkage never came out of the car ... but when I pull the linkage all the way up (Park), it's about an inch short of reaching the steering column arm (Park position).

So, I move the steering column down to reach it ... and it won't latch into Park, and appears does not have the movement to make it all the way to L1 (Turbo 350).

Is there someway to move the steering column down? or, did it get out of adjustment somehow? I really don't know what to adjust here.

Thanks, Neal

did you try making the adjustment at the other end of the linkage at the pivot down by the tranny
