Texas70 Sep 19th, 02, 7:35 PM I am going to prime/paint my chevelle with flat black paint with my sprayer. Car has original and some new paint on it at this time and I was wondering the best way to prep the surface before I spray the primer and flat black paint. What paint & supplier would I look for ? Its VERY hard to diagnose paint via the Internet. The best solution would be to find a friendly auto paint supplier and get their advice. And follow it to the letter. Preparation is the MOST important part of any paint job, even a temporary one. To make an educated suggestion as to methods and types of product, you need to see the car.
