I am going to prime/paint my chevelle with flat black paint with my sprayer. Car has original and some new paint on it at this time and I was wondering the best way to prep the surface before I spray the primer and flat black paint. What paint & supplier would I look for ? This paint job is probably a 1 to 2 yr temporary application.Thanx

John, a lot depends on the current condition of the surface and the type(s) of paint on the car. Its VERY hard to diagnose paint via the Internet. The best solution would be to find a friendly auto paint supplier and get their advice. And follow it to the letter. Preparation is the MOST important part of any paint job, even a temporary one. To make an educated suggestion as to methods and types of product, you need to see the car. Hope this helps.
