I just got a new OPG catalogue yesterday, (the one that says "Giant Inventory Clearance Sale"). They list plastic inner fenders for the 68-72 and say "brand new tooling". I've always heard that the plastic inners didn't fit worth a crap. Has anyone tried these new ones???, are they any better???, or is this just a marketing gimick???

Why would a 'new retooled item' be in an inventory clearance sale?I would think its the, slow selling older stock they they want to unload instead of move.I'd pass.

I was thinking that too. Just being hopeful thinking that maybe there's a decent plastic one available now.
I had hoped to find decent plastic inners, since that's what the car originally came with. But everything I've read here tells me to stay away from them and use the metal ones.
