my 66 needs a frame, so I found a 66 4 door tempest with a perfect frmae, will they interchange. I measered all the bolt holes for the front and rear bumbers, and body mounts and they match up. so will it work

As I understand, 2-door and 4-door frames were the same on the '64-67 cars, ...not sure about wagons and elkys. I've heard conflicting stories about BOP frames under a chevy also.

The '68-72 cars had differences. 4-doors had 4" longer wheelbase. Wagons and elkies had the longer wheelbase as well as a few extra inches (can't remember how many) behind the rear wheels. Again, I've heard conflicting stories about the BOP frames.

Do some searching in the "Brakes and Suspension" forum, and you might find your answer.
