In the process of having my car painted my body man recommended a new hood. The problem was small dents (maybe hail) and a sag down the middle ridge line requiring to much filler. What I need help with is which model hoods will fit my 67 2dr. Malibu.

The only hood that will fit is a 67. You can use a SS or stander hood, but only from a 67. You can go after market, but you will find that they only sell the SS hood in steel and you can go fiberglass and I think they have the stander hood available.

If you do not want to use an SS hood there should be many Malibu hoods out there cheap.
I would not pay more than $100 for a good one. I had one last year and sold it for $50.
A repo SS hood would look good and can be bought for $250
