hi 70 chevelle my washer pump doesnt work just installed new wiper switch tried washer no go. both terminals going into the wash pump side is getting 12v both sides is that normal? when i took off the black plastic cover and hit the little lever under the coil? it grab and work then i can see the basic operation of it just dont know why it doesnt work ?? do i need vacuum to make it work?? thanks storm

Nope, no vacuum needed.

Washer pumps are cheap. You might need to replace it. This pump needs no vacuum. graemlins/beers.gif

Is it normal to have 12 volts coming off both terminals of the washer pump?
