I am starting to get more involved with Chevelles. I have owned my 1968 Concours Coupe for 4 years now and eventually I would like to get a 70 SS (who doesn't!!) Now that I'm starting to get more serious about getting a 70 SS I realize I don't really know that much about Chevelles so I am trying to get more aquainted with them.

How many other people here own a Concours?

In the past couple years I have been much more into 4th gen Camaros and on boards like LS1tech partly because I only have a 1 car garage and had to put my Chevelle into storage while I enjoy and modify my 01 Camaro SS. The car is truly amazing but my first love has always been Chevelles.

Brian,

You probably won't find too many people on here with a Concours. They were fairly unusual when new, and even more so now. But different is  Sounds like yours is a nice low mileage original. I can only remember seeing one other one here in the Fox River Valley area, about 20 years ago a guy out in Sandwich had an Ash gold one.

I actually bought a 68 Concours NEW in Arlington Virginia back in 68. I liked it. Nobody knew what it was. The dealer gave it to me at cost (about $2900) to move it off his lot to make room for a better known (in the US) model, I.E. Malibu, SS).
