rafbo Nov 10th, 04, 7:43 PM I'm finally getting ready to install a 454 H.O. into my 72 SS. I am thinking of using flowmaster 40's for the exhaust system. Does anyone know of the comparable mufflers by dynomax or magnaflow? I wouldnt say that superturbos are comparable to flowmaster 40's. The flowmasters are probably twice as loud. Forgot some; Edelbrock, and Spintech make good mufflers. The spintechs sound insane. HD-DYNA Nov 11th, 04, 11:55 PM A friend of mine had flowmasters on his pickup and they sound great. I put them on my Chevelle,402 engine and they are a little too loud. the noise level is not much different than when I had one glass pack on it. I just don"t get the loud crack like the glass pack gave me. | ||
