I was going to paint the aluminum window frames on my motorhome today, it's Sunday and I just discovered I don't have any flat black in the shop. I do have a can of DP 90 and was thinking it would work okay. I've never tried to use DP90 as a flat black finish coat. Would it work okay as a flat black finish coat on the window frames or would it go away with out a good paint over it?

I used DP 90 by itself on the underneath and firewall of my chevelle. It has held up great for three years now and cleans up well. People don't believe me when I tell them its just primer.

I know what you mean. I've used it on control arms and fender wells before with excellent results. What I don't know, is, how does it act sitting in the sun light for a few years.
