I recently bought a 71 malibu that had been sitting for a couple of years The guy I got it from was planning on restoring it but never got around to it.
So I get it towed home and try to get it started, after I put fresh gas in I turn the key and it just keeps turning over then I notice two very small rubber hoses sticking from under the drivers side dash thats leaks when I turn the key :( . The fluid looks like oil but smells like a mixture of oil and gas any idea what these could be?

Probably an oil gauge line. The gas smell is likely the gas getting in the oil a bit from trying to start it. Find the other end of that line. Check for a decent spark, and double check the timing.
