yeah. its painted semi gloss black, it has new carpet, 86 Z28 buckets in it as well. im building a consol for it (well been for like 3 months, just to lazy to get it done), and i have a hurst 1/4 stick thats going it soon.

yeah the color is cool, thats how it was when i got the car, quick maaco job, if i showed you up close you would see how ****ty the job is lol. she just had it sprayed to seal the new sheet metal, still could use front fenders and door skins one day.

the color is Spring Green, very rare, only seen one other car with it, it was offered in 72.

Nice car your friend has, but I think I would have tried to paint that dash to see what it would look like. But who am I? What size motor is in that thing?

yeah it def is nice. its a stock bore 454 with a mild cam in it. runs strong. got a muncie and 410's in it as well. the dash is an aluminum one, its def nice, but it has to much of a glare off the top, so he took some headliner and put it on top. looks nice.

Looks good though! I've kept my eyes open for the ones I did and haven't seen them show up anywhere but TC so far...

Tip for anyone putting something like this together is to work in layers. As you paste each pic in use "paste in new layer" or what ever the option. This way you can keep moving all the cars around until you have them where you want them and then merge the layers to one for the finished project...

Yeah, I didn't have a lot of time. I just gridded a 1024 x 768 layout to the number of rows and columns I needed, set my snap and dropped the pics in. Resizing 88 pictures not to exceed cell size took long enough. Not very dramatic, but they're all there. Someone had to do it!!! :D

Layers will make it purty like Dennis', and you can overlap the pics.

-Dan The blue is 1996 corvette blue, I think its called Dark Cloisenne, it changes from bright metallic blue to medium almost purple to a deep blue pearlish color. Stripes color were on the same paint book page so its whatever the brightest most white chevy color in 96 was.

Details on the car:

Bought 4 years ago for $4000 with a brand new 350/TH350 combo. Had white interior with bench seat, I went to black bucket setup since the white stuff was ruined.
Has a 355 with about 350 HP, 700R4 stage 2, 12 bolt eaton 3.08 gears.

It's my daily driver and gets about 22 MPG highway. Also has 2 12" subs in the trunk and a Pioneer CD player and 6" in front with Rockford Fosgate 6x9 in rear deck.

Total investment in car minus wear and tear parts: around $4,000

I'd never find a new car this fun for $8000

Looks like u leaned in the direction of that color twice :D gets lots of compliments. Varies its shade quite a bit depending on primer color. They used a dark primer on mine.
