Does anyone have the formula to calculate mph when rpm, final gear ratio and tire diameter are known?

Try these, sometimes sites work sometimes they don't.

DZ,

Try this. I did the math myself... for fun.

MPH = RPM * (C / G * 1056)

C = (2*pi*r) = circumfrence of rear wheel
pi = 3.14159
r = radius of tire (or 1/2 diameter)
G = rear end ratio

This math is for a 4speed car in direct drive 1:1. This formula can also be switch around to give you engine speeds at various ground speeds if you wish

Sir, Wes Vann's tech pages have all the formulas, click on this link, I believe it's item #24.
