I did the math myself... for fun. MPH = RPM * (C / G * 1056) C = (2*pi*r) = circumfrence of rear wheel pi = 3.14159 r = radius of tire (or 1/2 diameter) G = rear end ratio This math is for a 4speed car in direct drive 1:1. This formula can also be switch around to give you engine speeds at various ground speeds if you wish ------------------ ??michael j Team Chevelle Gold #77 70 Chevelle SS396 4sp, Fathom Blue/White Stripes - Canadian built Gene Chas Apr 26th, 00, 10:23 AM Sir, Wes Vann's tech pages have all the formulas, click on this link, I believe it's item #24. www.chevelles.com/techref/index.html (http://www.chevelles.com/techref/index.html) DZAUTO Apr 26th, 00, 3:32 PM Thanks all. ------------------ Tom Parsons Al Apr 26th, 00, 7:14 PM We have a few neat programs available here on TC.
