Just found this site. Looks Great! We have a 1969 Chevelle SS and we were curious if the disc brake set up which would include spindles, rotors, calipers, brake boost, upper and lower A arms, steering sector, drag link and sway bar would be the same as the 1970, 1971, & 1972 Monte Carlo? We also would like to use the Chevelle SS 14" rims. We think maybe the Monte Carlo may have 15" rims. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated. Thank you. Stano, Amy & Annie

You are on track to success. However, you do not need to get the A-arms from the Monte as they are no different from what your car already has. All of the other parats sound OK.

Thank you for your reply. I seen a Monte Carlo and the front looked the same but figured there would be something not common to 69 Chevelle to mess us up. We purchased the Chevelle last Feb and are starting to disassemble it. I am sure we will have more questions. Thank you Stano and the girls

can't see any problems with your 69 as I used 70 monte parts to convert my 65 with no problems at all, even used power booster, proportioning valve and all. had to flip the brake hose retainers side to side, bend goes down as apposed to up to use monte hoses and had to use monte rear hose as the line going to rear brakes is larger diameter. everything just bolts up and works alot better than 4 wheel drums.
