HI Everyone. Does anyone have any opinions on what brand of weatherstrip kit to buy? Soff Seal, Metro, Steele. Thanks for any input!

I used Soff Seal and had great luck with the whole kit. Everything fit like a champ, and the quality seemed very good.

Metro is the brand I prefer. I've used them on three cars without any problems.

They even made a couple pieces for my 70 Monte Carlo that no one offered for a reasonable price. All the doors closed and the deck lid closed just like NOS weatherstrips. I've used other brands and the doors and trunk were hard to close until the car sat in the sun for a few days.

We did our Chevelle over 5 years ago and the seals are still like new. Some were Soffseal and some were Metro. Both seem to be excellent.

James Hinshaw pointed out some of the differences between Soff Seal and Metro and the biggest thing I remember is that the trunk seal looked and fit just like the OEM seal.

I used Soft Seal on my elky and I'm having problems with leaks around the top of the passengers side and front of the drivers side doors
