hey fellas, i have a ? for you all. i bought a 70 chevelle malibu about a week ago and got it home and started to tear into it. well my problem is i couldnt see the vin tag on the dash because the window was frosted since moisture has gotten between the two pieces of glass anyways when i took out the windshield i saww that the vin tag is rusted through. my question is: is this going to cause any problems in the future as far as run ins with the law or anything else of that nature. thanks

Del, (?)
It varies from state to state. I would go down to your local Motor Vehicle Administration office and ask them, they are the ONLY ones that can give you the correct answer unless someone else here is from Georgia and has had the same experience.

And a big "Howdy neighbor".
Sounds like you're gonna have to call either your local county tag office or the GA state patrol to get an answer on this question. I don't really know who's jurisdiction this would fall under.
EDIT: Man, you've got to come up with a better screen name than this... http://www.chevelles.com/forum/tongue.gif (check my profile) http://www.chevelles.com/forum/biggrin.gif
