While I wasn't looking, my TH-400 rear seal started to weep. The yoke slung ATF laterally onto my aluminized exhaust, which immediately cooked on and turned black. It looks really ugly. Question: Anyone know of a solvent that will cut this "well done" cooked-on ATF?

Ahhhh isnt it a wonderfull site, http://www.chevelles.com/forum/frown.gif I have felt your pain, here is wat to use, thinner and steel wool to get off the gunk, wear rubber gloves that stuff stings after awhile, thatll dull the surface, but never fear some brasso and a rag will bring it back even nicer than original, or any type aluminum cleaner polish will work, Good luck and happy scrubbing ,L89SEDAN
