Has anyone dropped thier chevelle 2". I saw this in super chevy chevelle, just ordered PST suspension rebuild kit and OPG 2" drop coil springs. Just wondering what others that have done this think about it? Pro's con's, what's your opinions? Thanks for any help Dave

I dropped mine using the Hotchkis coils that were 1" drop. I needed to pull them back out and cut another 1/3 coil off to get it to 26" (I have 255/60-15"s in the front).
It seems that the 2" drop wold put it right about the same place.

I've used the Eibach lowering springs on my 66 and love them. So,I'm using them on my Elky rebuild also. :D

I used the OPG 2" springs, they are great and they recomended KYB 4513 shocks. Now I need to raise the car up because of the spindle swap I'm doing. 78 Camaro spindle should drop the car another 1 1/2" Do You want to sell the spring You are taking out?

I dropped mine, but I used dropped spindles, not shorter springs. I think the cars look better a little lower.
I went the spindle route because I was changing to disc brakes at the same time and the place where I bought the kit had them stock or dropped.
I drive my car everyday as a commuter and with the dropped spindles I still have the full suspension movement. With a shorter spring you loose a little bit of clearance between the control arm and the bump stop.
