You might as well install forged pistons while you are rebuilding - depending on your future plans of course.

I would think they do, but while you at it, go with the forged pistons! I would say they are a MUST.

If you are rebuilding you may as well. Especially if you plan on beating on it with high compression, spray, or anything else harsh. If this is a good driver/cruiser with an occasional trip to the track go with a hypereuretic (sp?) piston. It will work just find and be a little cheaper. I hear good things about the Keith Black hyper pistons.

The original pistons were simply cast aluminum alloy. The crank will be a forging though.
