JIM C Dec 17th, 02, 6:22 AM does anyone know if there are two diffrent crome trim pieces for the 70-72 cowl hood ( rear ) I have a repo goodmark hood and the stock trim is not thick enough to cover the seam. I was told there were two stampings and the earlier was wider to cover the space, but it is no longer manufactured? Is this Bull**** ( uncorrect stamping of hood? Thanks, for any reply ------------------ ToocoolZ28 Dec 17th, 02, 7:27 AM I have an NOS GM cowl induction hood and I had to grind about 3/16s off the rear edge of the hood all the way across to get the molding to cover the weld seam like it did on the old cowl hood.
