Hey all,
Just a question if Sloans ,Hesperia CA(?),is ok to deal with. Hopping that this does not come across as offencive, just looking for feedback as I have never heard of them before.

The Sloans are the finest kind of people you could deal with - they just love Chevelles. I made the long drive to their place for some parts and they had several interesting projects underway that made for an enjoyable visit for a few hours.

I Bought a 4 spd bellhousing from them a little while back for $100 and it was awesome.

Just recently I was looking for that chrome trim piece for the back of my '66 Malibu -- the colored insert is made repro but the chrome piece is not so it's been hard to find -- they had one, emailed me a photo and I bought it. Came promptly, very safely packaged and it was actually better than I expected. I just hit it with some very fine steel wool and it shined up very, very well. I called them, in fact, to tell them I was very happy with the piece. Nice guy, whoever I spoke with. That's my only experience but they're in my rolodex now. Ed.

I have purchased a few parts for my 65 El Camino from them. They have always tryed to help me with what is correct for my year Chevelle. If they had the part that I was looking for, it was shipped the next day. Very helpfull people.

Awesome folks, and honest as the day is long. I bought my 454 block, left front fender and left rear quarter for my '67 from them. Always a joy to visit and shoot the breeze about the various projects Jim's been involved in, both past and present.

They are highly recommended. graemlins/thumbsup.gif

Thanks all for the ton of replies.
They have a page at: http://www.sloans64-72.com/

I also made a deal with:
http://www.el-chevelles.com/
Andre's El-Chevelles Inc.
ph# 417-725-4292
863 Melton Ave.
Ozark, MO 65721

He was very easy to deal with. Since he was close to me it made for short shipping time.
