Does anyone know of any good bodyshops in Maryland to weld on quarter panels.

What part of Md are you in? I had my car painted at a shop in Jessup, they did a great job and I know they do excellent bodywork too.

Hey DanG, Awesome looking job on your chevelle. smile.gif If you don't mind, what is the name of the shop that did your work? Was the cost reasonable? And finally, how long did they have your car?

Frederick,MD Your in my neck of the woods, theres quite a few bodyshops in the Frederick area. I have only had experience with two of them, the one did the bodywork and paint on my 72 Chevelle but they no longer really do restoration work anymore, they tend to do insurance work since there is more money to be made there. And the other shop I worked at breifly and I saw first hand how the work was done and how the cars were treated while they were there and I would not reccomend them (you might get the work done in two years, maybe), I won't name names because I don't want to be accused of bad mouthing them. The shop that did the work on my Chevelle is called Preferred Auto body,Inc their Phone# is (301)-631-0851 the address is 502D. Highland St. Frederick, MD (behind the Frederick fair grounds) and the owners name is George LeCompte. I don't know if they will do the work for you or not but it's worth a call to see. I know a group of three guys who have started a business of selling restoration and performance parts in Frederick and their business name is similar to your screen name are you one of those guys?
