I going to buy a 2" cowl hood for my 65 . Who can reccomend what brand ? thanks jay

If Harwood has one for your car, go with it. If not, then go with Glasstech, IMHO.

I would also suggest Harwood or Glasstech or if you want I believe that Goodmark makes a steel one for 65. They all need minor attention but usually in triming because they allow for people installing them differently. You are FAR BETTER OFF paying the little extra and getting a good quality hood than trying to save a few bucks. The cheaper ones require a lot of attention and they aren't worth the time. Stay away from Unlimited!

We originally shopped price and bought an Unlimited 2 inch cowl hood for my son's 65-BIG MISTAKE! That hood was junk and within a year was cracking and warping. After the fire (thats another story) We ordered a Glasstec 4 inch cowl hood and it cost more but is a good quality piece. Three years later is looks like new.
