I'm thinking they should be the same as a 72. I think I have a set but It will be Tuesday before I can dig through my stash of parts to see if they are the size you need.

Not sure what you mean by the screw holes being rotated 90 degrees. I thought 68 - 72 all used the same panels. If I remember correctly, the panels will not cover the entire opening. Since they are covered by the large tailgate panel, you can drill the holes wherever to need them, correct?

My guess is you probably already have the right panels.

I don't remember as well on the '68 thru '72 panels, but as TimC said, ......the panels will not cover the entire opening. Since they are covered by the large tailgate panel, you can drill the holes wherever to need them, correct?

Those 2 inner panels don't cover the entire hole. There should be a gap on either side. You probably have the right panels.

Where's that JoeyB when we need him ????????? ;)

The screws are top and bottom, not side to side. There should be two holes and two slots on each, and also a clip to hold the tailgate latch rod. There is definately an "inside" and "outside" and I don't think it matters which side goes where. They don't cover the entire hole, but you've heard that before...
