Anybody have any quality pictures of a silver '69 with black stripes along with the silver paint code? I am close to paint and have to decide on the silver.

Color # 69 Cortez Silver was the only Silver avail. in 69 should have plenty of pictures or go to the home page here an click on the ACES logo and check out the pictures from Chevelabrations www.chevellestuff.com (http://www.chevellestuff.com)

Hood stripes or side stripes?

Sorry...should have given more info. I am not necessarily looking for a factory silver, just one that looks good. I am planning on putting the '70 style black stripes over the hood and deck lid.

Sweet ride Tom. Thanks for the link. Are you going to put SS emblems on it? My car isn't an SS, and even though am going to run the SS hood I don't think I am going to put SS emblems on it.

I like the '69 SS striped down the side, but I was affraid that without a vinyl top the side stripes wouldn't break up all of that silver enough. Your car looks good though. I might have to change my mind about the stripes.

yes I am putting the SS emblems on I think I might get to it in a week or 2 I am building a new house and have not touched the car in a few months. but spring is just around the corner and I am looking forward to putting her back together.
i was also worried about the stripe with no vinyl top, but I think it looks good.
