hello guys, been searching the web a little and decided to post this question. does anybody know where i can purchase a service manual for a 68 chevelle. I'm not looking for an original or anything like that. Just one with the proper info so I can double check things about my baby. If anybody can steer me in the right direction it would be much appreciated thanks.

Look at this site, select Chevrolet, 68 Chevelle is there. This is for shop manuals on cd, I got it for My 69 Olds 98, Complete shop manual set. The viewer software is Paper Port Viewer, I had to download a patch from their tech service to make it work.

Take a look at used bookstores in your town. You may be able to get the genuine GM manual for about $20 or so. Also, search for used book dealers on Google; some of these places have a lot of stuff at reasonable prices.

Did you consider to buy a CD from Detroit Iron from the TC shop. You will get the Shop, Body and Parts manual all at once. I must admit a CD is different as opposed to paper, but still ....
