I purchased a floor shift column and have dissassembled it to repaint and restore. For the life of me I cannot figure out how to get the ignition switch out. It's making me nuts. I know it's got to be something simple but I just can't see it. Any one ever remove this? Any help would be great.

Just so no one wastes time on this one - I figured it out - found it in the service manual - was pretty simple graemlins/hurray.gif

Hey Rich,
I went through the same thing with my 70. I messed around with it for like an hour then looked in the Chilton manual and had it out in 10 seconds. Kind of like the same thing with the glove box locks.

I know - it's the little stuff sometimes that makes you nuts - thank god for those manuals - the funny thing is after hours of trying to figure it out and after posting my wife says to me "why don't you look in all those books you spent so much money on" graemlins/clonk.gif now why didn't I think of that.

So for those that may run into this, how did you do it?
