Hello,
I have a 1971 Chevelle that is emrald green with black stripes. I happened to buy the car 3 years ago with it fully painted in what I believe to be an enamal clear coated a million times. The paint is very high gloss and to be honest i really love the paint job. Just one problem,... over the past 3 years I have had no place to store it except outside in the elements. Because I am just 18, and have a joke of an income, the best i could do was a California Car cover,... I have no money to garage it. This car is my baby and it brings tears to my eyes every time I look at the left side wheel well, trunk lid, and passenger door. Although these spots are rather small they are (the ones on the trunk (2) being about the size my my finger nail) speading quickly and bother the hell out of me. My questions is what do i do to stop the rust and save my paint job. I wouldn't mind taking it somewhere but i have a very limited budget. Is there some way I or they can fix the rust spots and blend the paint or something so it looks decent? What is done in this case? Thanks for the help,
Dan
