i bought an old beat up monte 72 for the dash pad for my chevelle got the hole car for 100 bucks, just wonderin if the power disc brake stuff on the front of the monte will fit on my 71 malibu spindle :eek: s,booster and prop valve also?? also will the door glass swap out or rear window?? thanx for any help and thanx for the help on the upper rear end trailing arm bushing removel ideas!!! dont wanna snap those ears off!!!

Front disc brake stuff, 100% bolt on, grab it all.

Dash, seats, console, shifter, steering column, pedals, front suspension, rear suspension + rear end. Lot of the wiring is the same. The engine is likely a 350, so that's all good too. anything hanging off the engine will swap over, carb, alternator, starter....

Door and door glass are MC, & won't fit Chevelle.

But the door locks and handles I think are the same, as well as the arm rests. Oh, get the side mirrors. The rear glass is a fit. Not sure on front glass.

To get the rear bushings out of the rear, take a 1/4" drill bit and drill out the rubber between the inner & outer shell. Eventally you will either "walk" the inner sleeve out or it will fall out. The use a chisel to crush the sleeve inward. It will pop out.

You can get the door panels too if yours are too thrashed.

No, nothing will fit. I'll come and take the car off your hands out of the goodness of my heart! Just make sure to leave the disc brake setup on it, you know, so I can stop the car when I load it on the trailer! Yeah, yeah, that's it!

OOPS, too late! DG spilled the beans. :eek: Look at the rearend very closely. Many Montes came with 12 bolt rear ends, and they will bolt right into a Chevelle as well.
