onebadd66 Mar 16th, 04, 7:19 PM What would be the easiest way to reinstall the bumpers back on my 66 Chevelle? Put the brackets on first ,then the bumper or brackets on the bumpers,then on the car? I drape towels over the ends so the bumper can't damage the paint if it were to touch the body. You can also put masking tape on the paint. One person holds it and the other bolts the brackets to the frame. Tighten the bolts enough to hold it up but loose enough so you can adjust it.
