I have a 72 Chevelle I'm hoping to get painted this winter.
It has the "sport" mirror on the driverside, but no mirror on the pass side.

Was this mirror originally "wide angle" or "objects in the mirror are closer than they appear" mirror.

Any other mirrors the same that are wide angle ?
I'm thinking maybe from a 70's F-body.

I installed a pass. side mirror on my 68, and since its a standard mirror, its about worthless, and won't do it again unless I can get the wide angle mirror.

The original mirror was not a wide angle mirror. They didn't start installing such mirrors as original equipment until many years later.

I do have to wonder why no one sells wide angle mirror glass for original style mirrors? I'd think there would be a big market for such a thing.
