My 70 Chevelle's hood likes to set against the passenger fender towards the rear, I have noticed that the drivers side hinge does not appear to come all the way to the stop. Is this a spring problem or are the hinges bad. Don't know what to look for in diagnosing.

You should be able the get a pair of NOS hinges and springs for under 100 bucks
