I just picked up a blast cabinet and was wondering if I should put casters on it. I have the casters and they didn't cost anything so yes or no?

Dave,

I have the TP tools blasting cabinet. I put a set of casters with a bottom shelf on it. It works out great when you want to move it outside to blast or to sweep up around it. I say casters are a must.

I agree that casters are a must. I also built a platform on the end to hold the vacum canister. Makes it easier to move everything as a unit and keeps the canister off the floor. I put an extra light in the cabinet also. More lighting helps a bunch.

Thanks for the input I got 2 dust collectors with this one is 2.5'x2.5' and the other is 2'x2'and thats a 3Phase unit. Came with 350# alumablast 3pr gloves 6 ceramic nozzles and other stuff. This will take alot of floor space. So I'll need to put casters on both units for moving.
