I bought a disassembled 70 SS which came with many NOS parts. Part of this is a pair of NOS fenders and NOS Cowl Induction hood. The restoration I am doing is fairly original but not a # matching queen. I have been thinking of selling these and buying much cheaper Goodmark replacements. What do you guys think? I have no experience with these Goodmark parts, will they fit as well? How much are the NOS parts worth? Any thoughts?????

Nothing fits like NOS. Not sure on the Goodmark stuff. If it does not matter to you then use what ya got.

I second that!!! I havnt found much of anything that I have purchased aftermarket that fit like the original or NOS. some made in mexico parts have ended up in the trash.. I would use the NOS

I remember as a young man the police stopping me in my 375hp./bench 69 SS(at every single sighting of me out in my car)just to get me to keep it off the streets and give me a ticket for sumthin.

16 yrs old with a manuel steering car and a 4:10 or 11 Posi.(does it matter?)in uncontroled sideways motion all the way down the steet.DAMN I loved that car.Lost my license 3 yrs cause of that kinda fun.
