Trying to find out what this part is called so i can order a new one.it looks like a vacuum pod actuator its located on the right hand side under the cowl grille i do not have cowl induction. i have a 1970 chevelle malibu. thanks R.L

If it's up near the windshield it could be the vacuum operated duct work door opener and closer (I don't know the name either).

Air inlet dashpot(or actuator) for the air conditioning
