: stitch welder for floor pans?

Has anybody had any experience with the "stitch welder" that eastwood and other companies sell? I'd like to use it with my stick arc welder to repair my floor pans. This is supposed to be able to weld panels as thin as 22 gauge. Are the floor pans thinner than that?
Thanks

Anybody???
This is an accessory to be used with an arc stick welder. I'd appreciate any comments or advise.
Thanks,
Dennis

Wish I could help you out, but my knowledge is limited to the add in Eastwood.
MY experence with BUZZ box AC/DC welders
is to stay clear of light gauge metal.

MIg is the welder of choice for 14 to 28 ga. steel.

Thanks for the response Wayne. Unfortunately I too have no experience with this item. Apparently no one else has either. I thought I might be able to save a little money utilizing this.

There are a few rental shops in our area who rent mig welders. Maybe you could call around your area to see if you can rent one in your area.
