it is simicrome polish. I got engine degreaser on my aluminum valve cover and now they have a white haze on them that is stained on and i cant get it off? graemlins/clonk.gif any other suggestions
It's been around for a very long time. There have been a lot of new products put on the market sense the inception of semichrome and are eaiser to use. I know it will take out most hot spots on a chrome exhaust where most products wont.

Just my 2 cents, but try Windex. I play an aluminum guitar, and the acids from my hands turn the aluminum white. A squirt of Windex neutalizes the acids & oils, whala, nice and shiney again.
Try it.

Great stuff, been using it since the late 60's on aluminum wheels and chrome trim. It also worked great on restoring the plastic headlamps on my truck back to clear. The AZ sun had made them so cloudy it was hard to see at night.
