Has anyone ever used herculiner bed liners on there pick up trucks. I was wondering how it holds up compared to Rinoliner or line X. How long have u had it on your truck and what do u use your truck for. Also how do u rate this product and what are your opinions on it? thanks for any input graemlins/beers.gif

I used it on my new 02 Chevy pickup and since I don't haul much, it has held up well. It is a little thin in some spots, but I think that is caused by installer error and not the product, I need to touch it up. I think it beats paying 400 dollars to get someone to spray basically the same thing on, but I guess I'm cheap.

No Clue on Herculiner, don't like Rhino Liners (have to drop vehicle off, maybe done in a day or two ... not to mention Rhino linings are baked on). Have gone the Line-X route and I feel it's worth every penny. You make an appontment for say 2pm, and around 4pm, you're back on the road (no hauling for 24 hours though). After 4 years, it still looks like new (as long as it's clean). Have hauled rocks, straw, hay, cattle panels, posts, bricks, sod, lumber, sheetrock, etc. I would go Line-X again in a heartbeat, if/when I get another truck. Another thing to consider is Rhino linings, and I "think" (not sure) herculiners are done with one coat. Line-X is layered (6 coats on the sides and tailgate, and 8 coats on the floor of the bed).

I put Herculiner in the back of my elky two years ago. It's a driver and I've hauled around the typical "honey do" stuff like topsoil, plants, etc. with no damage at all. I put 2 coats as directed. It's a little rough on the bare skin if you're sitting on the tailgate watching fireworks, though. ;)

I "herc'ed" the entire inside of my Raider.
It is Absolutly the best thing you an do for an offroad vehicles interrior. No more stinky wet smelly carpet, and to wash it out, you park the truck on a hill, and wash it out. That stuff is absolutly awesome. I even herculined my bumpers!!! 3 inch square tube steel, and I can;t tell you how many times I have hit trees, bushes, stood it on end of the bumpers, and it's not even thought about going anywhere.

You can to a whole interrior in 2 days, I would expext that it would take about the same for a truck bed. Herculiner it great. Just don't get any on your Hootus!!!

I used gator guard II on mine, got it from eastwood. Total cost around 100 bucks (2 kits and cheapo undercoating gun) Took about 1 hr to scuff bed with scotchbrite pads and about 45 min to tape off and spray. These DIY coatings will not hold up quite as well as the comercial coatings,
but work quite well for alot less. The gator guard is a 2part epoxy that is pretty hard when cured. i think they are fine for moderate use, if your throwing rocks and lumber, ect in there everyday then I would go with the linex, rhino, ect.
