Anyone have any tips on installing the under hood insulation? I used some good two sided tape and two of the four panels fell when I drove the car.

I bought 2 kits and doubled mine to get it to stay put.But I have heard others here have used spray adhesive ,spray both surfaces then install.

On my 69, I cut it large enough that it can't fall out of the holes

(I made it out of 1/2" thick duct liner)

I used the spray on 3M General Trim Adhesive. Do as Dean did,cut it oversized to tuck under the hoodpanels, make sure the hood surface is clean, spray it on both surfaces, and you should be set to go. Hope this helps, Dennis

weatherstripping adhesive left over from the doors, trunk etc...works great

Was the insulation tucked between the panelswhen sold new? I don't rember them being that way but most folks tuck it today.
