What years of steering columns can be used for a 70 Chevelle?

'69-'72. The '68s have the key on the dash, not the column. Skylark, Lemans, Cutlass, Grand Prix and Monte Carlo columns will all drop in.

Make sure to measure it first, I bought one at a swap meet that was "supposed" to be for a Chevelle
but was about 2" too long. I think it was for a full size car.

We installed an '82 Camaro Tilt Column w/Cruise, WSW in our '69. The shaft that attached to the rag joint coupling was shortened and lazer welded by the same fabricator who just completed our Art Morrison 12/14 Point Rollcage. It bolts right up to the steering column support.

Just another option to add to your list.

Here's a couple pics, the first one when we had the aluminum bezel in our car, the second one with the Racedash now in the car.
